India's cabinet approved the sale of a 24 percent stake in National Hydroelectric Power Corp. as part of a program to sell shares in electricity utilities to fund increased capacity in the power-starved nation.

Nuclear deal passed, a big positive
Late on Wednesday night both houses of the US Senate passed the Indo-US Nuclear Deal, after incorporating the modifications suggested by the House members. The Bill now goes to the US President, who could sign the Bill into an Act latest by next week .
